ANDREW HIGGINS, the England Under 21 centre, has completed his move from Worcester Rugby Club to Premiership Bristol Shoguns.
The 19-year-old, who only played in two games for the Sixways club last season because of injuries, has been included in the England Under 21 tour party to Australia this summer.
Also in the tour party is former Worcester scrum-half Chris Simpson-Daniel who joined the Shoguns earlier this month.
"A number of other clubs including Leicester had expressed an interest in me but I felt that Bristol were the right club for me," said Higgins.
"But Bristol have a lot of other good young players and I made a conscious decision that I wanted to be part of a club which, I believe, is heading up the game's pecking order.
"All that said, however, Worcester has been great for me personally over the past two years.
"But it was time to move on and the challenge of trying to force my way into a Premiership team is what swung the balance in my mind."
