FOR several weeks, the Malvern Angels, DERA Malvern's Ladies Rugby 7's team, were training non-stop for the annual DERA Rugby 7's competition held at Farnborough RFC, Hampshire.
Teams from DERA sites all over the country are entered and the ladies league at the competition only consisted of 3 teams, two of which had competed last year, but the Angels put up a brave fight and are determined to go back next year and show them how its done!
From the 7's team, they are hoping to build up a ladies 15's team at Malvern RUFC, Spring Lane, to compete in the local ladies league next season.
