AMATEUR boxer David Kelly has taken over as the new manager of the Cheltenham & Gloucester branch in Pershore.
Mr Kelly's new post will see him return to the area. Six years ago he worked for C&G's Evesham branch.
"I'm delighted to be back," he said.
"My new team have made me really welcome and I'm looking forward to building on their fantastic reputation and knocking out the competition."
Mr Kelly joined C&G 10 years ago at the company's Gloucestershire head office. He then moved to the branch network and was chosen for the branch manager designate scheme - a fast-track management training programme for employees who show potential.
In his spare time, Mr Kelly is a keen amateur boxer and hopes to become a qualified coach within the next six months. He has also taken up golf.
