THE only bright ray of light in the foot-and-mouth crisis was that we were spared the diatribes of Tim Pinney and others of his ilk.
Now the crisis is abating he has resumed his vendetta against that humane, caring person Anita Knittel who fights for defenceless animals.
Because Anita has the temerity to stand against the Countryside Alliance, she is subjected to abuse and insults.
I'm constantly amazed that Mr Pinney and other men should fight so vigorously to retain the slaughtering of an animal.
I would have through there had been enough slaughter without adding to it.
