WORCESTERSHIRE Cricket Board opened their ECB 38 County Cup programme with a three-wicket defeat against Wales at Barnt Green.
In a game reduced to 48 overs a side by rain, the Cricket Board made 209-9 with David Banks making 60 and Kabir Ali a late unbeaten 42.
But Wales reached their target with five balls to spare thanks to Ian Thomas (52) and Shaun Morris (47).
