A MOTORCYCLIST was in hospital today after being in collision with a car on a road near Worcester.
Police and ambulance services closed the Martley Road for 90 minutes after the collision, which happened at 1.10pm on Sunday, outside Broadheath Foods.
The motorcyclist, believed to have been thrown over the top of the red Peugeot 406 during the accident, was travelling towards Martley. The car driver was travelling in the opposite direction.
Ambulance crews took the motorcyclist, who has not been named, to Ronkswood Hospital with serious leg injuries. The driver of the Peugeot escaped injury.
Worcester police are appealing for witnesses to the accident to contact them on 01905 723888.
