FIRST division Wolves have been linked to a £1m bid for Kidderminster Harriers centre-half Craig Hinton.
But Harriers' chairman, Lionel Newton, values the player a lot higher and branded him irreplaceable.
Newton revealed no official offer had been received but was resigned to losing the talented 23-year-old.
Several clubs including Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest and Aberdeen have been tracking the defender all season.
"A lot of clubs have been watching him very closely and he has had a tremendous season," said Newton. "I am just waiting for the first offer but I couldn't replace him and would be looking for a sell on fee as well.
"You only have to look at the First Division -- where would you get a top quality centre-half for £1m?"
Hinton, who is on a three-year contract, was picked up from Birmingham's youth academy, but it was only when Harriers' boss, Jan Molby, switched him from full-back to central defence that he blossomed.
