WHAT a distortion of facts by Councillor Richard Udall in his letter (You Say, May 21).
And all in order to frighten pensioners into voting Labour. At least the Tories have promised to address the public services problem - it couldn't be worse than it is now.
Labour also says it will replace the one-off gift trick with a good pension rise across the board instead of robbing those with a second pension who are being milked by this government's means-test policy.
This government's tax burden has been more in the last 12 months than in the whole of John Major's premiership. The money's all gone on rescuing the euro and propping up the Dome.
