THE second round of Redditch Borough Council's consultation with townsfolk on the future style of leadership has started.
The Council will be making leaflets 'Which Route Should We Take?' available to residents, businesses, staff and community groups in line with the Local Government Act 2000.
Questions such as whether the council cabinet should be given specific areas or issues like housing or environmental services will be highlighted in the leaflet.
Focus will also be placed on whether area committees with specific powers and budgets or area forums for consulting or discussing issues only should be created.
Redditch residents will be asked to vote on whether they want an elected mayor with cabinet in the autumn.
The fallback proposal will be a Leader with Cabinet if the no-vote wins because it received the most public support after the first consultation.
