ONE of Bromsgrove's best loved legal characters has retired from law.
Clients and colleagues said a sad farewell to Bob Moule, a partner at Morton Fisher Solicitors' Bromsgrove office, in St John Street.
The 57-year-old steps down after a career spanning 30 years - the majority of it with the firm now known as Morton Fisher.
Mr Moule does not plan to sit idle.
He has now set a target of taking an Open University degree in humanities and learning how to play the piano.
The legal expert is a well-known figure on the north Worcestershire business scene and has been Bromsgrove Round Table chairman, president of Bromsgrove Rotary Club and is ex-bailiff of Bromsgrove Court Leet.
The company's senior partner Jim Quinn said: "Bob has been a tremendous personality in our firm.
"His sense of fun and direct approach have provided the necessary sparkle in our partnership."
Mr Moule told the Advertiser/Messenger: "I would like to thank my clients for their kind instruction over the years and particularly my colleagues in the town of Bromsgrove."
