LEAFIELD Panthers U8s 1 Callowbrook Swifts U8s 2.Swifts' away form continued with another solid display. Jay Hurley got Swifts on their way from a close range shot into the corner. Matthew Wood scored Swifts' second off another excellent corner from Leon Curtis. Swifts kept on top with another outstanding performance by MoM Karl Humphreys. Panthers pushed forward during the second half and forced a late goal.
Royal Eagles U9s 0 Callowbrook Swifts U9s 1. In this tournament quarter-final, Swifts overcame cup favourites Eagles who have been unbeatable this season. MoM Matthew Hale scored late in the first half. It was his first goal for the club and it was one to remember as he latched on to Michael Chambers' quick throw and unleashed a low curling shot from 20 yards. Daniel Phillips pulled off some fine saves to deny an equaliser and Ben Heath died for the cause as he got back to make a match-saving tackle right at the final whistle.
