A DRIVER was trapped in his car for 90 minutes after a road smash in Hanbury last Thursday, May 24.
Police were forced to close School Road for four hours while firefighters battled to rescue Marlon Rouse from his white Vauxhall Movana.
It had been involved in a collision with a Mercedes lorry and its trailer at around 4pm.
Mr Rouse, of Redditch, was air-lifted to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with multiple injuries, including a fractured pelvis.
Last Friday, May 25, a hospital spokes-man said he was in a stable condition.
The lorry driver, Christopher Jones, from Doncaster, escaped with minor injuries.
