AN artistic Redditch School has scooped seven awards, including best overall entry, for the St George's Day 'paint the dragon' competition.
Dingleside Middle School, Woodrow, received the first and second prizes from Redditch Borough Council after St George himself judged them.
Nick Burrows, 11, won the best overall entry award and received theatre tickets worth £25.
Other winners from the school received gift vouchers and free meals.
Art teacher at Dingleside Middle School, Fay Ryder, said: 'We had four runners up and three placed prizes and the overall winner.
'We are very proud as the pupils worked on their own, in their free time using their developing art skills and a great deal of initiative.'
