A Church Hill man was fined £375 and disqualified from driving for 12 months by Redditch magistrates for being more than twice over the legal drink-drive limit.
William Power, 54, of Edgeworth Close, had 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He was also ordered to pay £69 costs and was referred to a drink-drive rehabilitation course.
