HISTORY was brought to life for pupils at a Charford school with the visit of a mysterious stanger.
Children's entertainer "Professor McGinty" came to Charford First School to take youngsters on a trip back in time to the Second World War.
The professor educated children about the past with dramatically-told stories of wartime life in the 1940s while two youngsters got in on the act and dressed up in period costume.
Five workshops throughout the day gave each class at the Charford Road school the chance to learn about daily life during the war.
TIME-WARP: Professor McGinty takes Joanna Hill and Ross Hughes, both aged eight, back in time to the Second World War.
