BROMSGROVE police's clampdown on burglars resulted in the arrest of eight people believed to have taken part in "distasteful crimes".
As part of Operation Hawkeye -- which targeted house burglars -- officers from the town and Redditch worked together last Wednesday.
Enquiries are still being made into the arrests for burglary and associated offences.
Detective Inspector Steve Cullen, who was in charge of the operation, said: "Today's operation is part of our continued commitment to reduce burglary offences.
"The invasion of a person's home is a particular distasteful crime and we are determined to ensure those responsible are brought to justice."
Anyone with information about crimes can call Bromsgrove police on (01527) 584888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
