WORCESTERSHIRE'S James Pipe blasted a superb 132 not out for Kidderminster but they had to settle for a home draw with Aston Unity.
Pipe starred in Saturday's Birmingham and District League Premier Division game as Kidderminster took 13 points and their opponents seven.
With only two Aston wickets remaining at the end of the 34th over, the home side looked set for their second win of the season.
But the visitors put on a determined 55 for the ninth wicket and held on for the draw.
In the Kidderminster innings, Pipe's magnificent score was from 132 balls and included nine fours and a six.
He came to the wicket to join Mark Mansell with the score on 9-1 in the third over.
These two batted with authority, putting on 100 in 23 overs.
A rare loose stroke from Mansell saw his departure for 45, caught at backward point for the first of Sammy Khan's four wickets.
Further stands of 30 and 42 followed before four wickets fell in the space of six overs, taking Kidderminster from 181-3 to 196-7.
Well-judged running between the wickets between Paul Vinas (10) and Pipe boosted the score to 224-8 in their 55 overs.
Unity's line-up was shaken when captain Abid Din was bowled in the second over by Rob Symonds, who only conceded 28 runs from his nine overs.
Sohail Mohammed (29) and Amir Farooque (20) steadied the situation over the next 16 overs until they departed to Mandeep Singh and Ted Bayliss.
Ryan Sierra and Asif Din (9) put on a further 32 until the energetic Pipe snapped up Din.
This started a sequence of four wickets for Singh (6-58), three of which fell on 127.
The Warwickshire side were reduced to 129-8 after 34 overs but the pairing of Sierra (63no) and Hussain (24) batted for 21 overs and foiled Kidderminster's attempts to take the match.
Hussain's departure on the final ball of the match left Unity on 184-9, giving the Chester Road men their fourth bowling point.
Kidderminster 224-8, Aston Unity 184-9.
Kidderminster only picked up eight points from Monday's enthralling visit to bottom-of-the-table Barnt Green.
The clash swung from one side to the other throughout but Green piled on the pressure and Kidderminster crumbled.
The visitors needed 15 runs from six overs but bowler Kris Howes (8-29) the lower order with 5-1 in just 10 balls.
After a shaky start where the visitors were reduced to 30-3, Singh (54) and Richard Bradford (70) restored order with 101 in 90 minutes.
Chasing 184-9, Singh and Bradford both departed to LBW decisions and the rot set in.
Stephen Ralph (17 not out) was forced to play out the last over to secure the losing draw.
Earlier, Green also made an uncomfortable start, losing three wickets for 51 runs, all to the improving Symonds (5-42).
However, Gavin Haynes (46) and Ian Smith (48) kept them going.
Barnt Green 184-9, Kidderminster 179-9.
