FUND-raisers are planning to deliver a blow against cancer with a charity day near Worcester next month.
Baynhall Farm, Kempsey, will host the event, organised to drum up money for the Cancer Research Campaign and Macmillan Cancer Relief.
"We've been fund-raising in memory of my sister-in-law, Janet, for several years," said organiser Pat Venables.
"Any event we hold is in her memory. Our loss really spurred us on and we've been overwhelmed by the support we've received.
"We've raised thousands of pounds for cancer research."
The fund-raising day has been scheduled for Sunday, June 24, and the fun is set to begin at 3.30pm.
Tickets, priced at £10 for adults and £3 for children, are on sale now.
To book a place, call Peter or Pat Venables on 01905 820464.
Entertainment planned includes a falconry demonstration, and music from the Eagle Jazz Band.
Anyone wanting to attend is asked to bring a picnic and a chair.
