MUSICIANS from all over the Stratford area are invited to get a taste of the morning after the night before - Proms night that is - at a special event at the end of next month.
The organisers of the Stratford Music Live festival have organised a workshop for grade four or above musicians to follow the Last Night of the Proms concert by the Orchestra of the Swan.
Proms: The Morning After, will be led by Orchestra of the Swan musical director David Curtis and will explore pieces such as Elgar's Wand of Youth, Sea Pictures and, of course, Pomp and Circumstance.
The event is due to take place in Stratford Town Hall, on Saturday, June 30, from 10am to noon.
Meanwhile, the Orchestra of the Swan will be preceding its promenade concert on June 29 with a free open rehearsal in the civic hall.
