BLOOD found on broken glass in the window of a Bewdley jeweller's shop led police to a 19-year-old warehouseman, magistrates were told at Kidderminster.
Lee Davies, of Lea Street, Kidderminster, was fined £150, with £30 compensation and £69 costs when he admitted criminal damage at the shop in Load Street.
He denied stealing watches missing from a display and his account was accepted, said prosecutor Kerry Moreton.
