Norton Rangers 11
Worcester Juniors 0
NORTON had to win to complete a dream double for manager Rob Knight.
Rangers have already won the cup and a win from this last game could seal the league title.
With a full squad Norton were quietly confident of defeating Worcester Juniors, who were seventh in the league - although the last match had been a close encounter.
The home supporters were not disappointed as Ashley Knight scored twice in the first ten minutes and again in the second half to bag his hat-trick.
Although there was no man of the match, James Muddiman and Matthew Williams in midfield controlled the game and both scored their hat-tricks. James flicking the ball over the keeper's head after a solo run from half way.
Norton's keeper Alex Gretton was on form after a slip away to Newtown last week. With Tommy Sandles back from London and Joe Mulrennen, Oliver Worthington and Pete Marquis making for a tight defence, he was only called on a few times.
Ashley Wilkes and Tristan Buckley were Norton's other scorers. Tristan dribbled through a packed defence soon after he was introduced at half time for his goal
A celebration followed in the Norton Club after the match and the club presentation night will be held on June 8.
