MR Grimestopper's assault on litter and eyesores across Wyre Forest got off to a flying start in the first week of calls to his special "Grime Line".
The mascot is spearheading Wyre Forest District Council's "Grime's A Crime" campaign to clean up the district in association with the Shuttle/Times & News.
And 90 per cent of the 20 calls to the hotline, which was launched last week, have led to action - including removing offensive rubble and posters.
Kidderminster has so far emerged as the main area for eyesores.
Two tonnes of rubble and litter have been removed from land opposite Park Lane's timber yard, which featured in the top sites identified by callers.
Bromsgrove Street has been identified as an eyesore hotspot with the council looking into issues of land ownership at Kidderminster Youth House, the temporary library site and old Co-op building before it can act.
Other callers have reported patios in Mason Road and land in Radford Avenue, with ownership also being investigated at these sites.
But more than 100 illegal signs and posters have been removed from district roads in an assault on fly posting.
After a report of fly tipping, an area of Wilden Lane in Stourport was cleaned up within hours as part of an initiative with the Environment Agency.
Land next to Dillons in the town's Lombard Street is another site being investigated for ownership.
Simon Trickett, of the council's cultural, leisure and commercial services department, said Kidderminster Police, Worcestershire County Council, which helped remove the rubble at Park Lane, and Wyre Forest Community Housing were now "on board" with the campaign.
The police will help with prosecuting fly tippers and those putting up posters, while the housing company will put extra resources towards cleansing its properties.
"We're ready to respond so I would encourage people to ring the hotline," Mr Trickett said.
