Evesham v Feckenham
EVESHAM gave their first convincing league performance of the season when they entertained Feckenham.
The home side were almost at full strength with the return of players from injury and after winning the toss elected to bat on a good wicket.
Captain Jon Gregory hit top form with a magnificent knock of 135, supported by Gary Lewis (69) and Paul Jones (37).
Evesham's total of 300 proved too much for Feckenham and they played out the game for a draw.
Evesham were unable to bowl out the defensive minded visitors despite using seven bowlers, but were awarded a winning draw for their efforts.
Feckenham II v Evesham II
WHEN Evesham visited Feckenham on Saturday they elected to bat on a slow low wicket.
James Cawson batted well for his 107, ably supported by Matt Hudson (39) and John Barrett (29).
Evesham's total of 228 looked good enough, but the visitors produced a display of wayward bowling that the home side capitalised on, scoring the required amount of runs with just two balls to go.
The visitors' efforts were not helped by conceding 41 extras.
Belbroughton III v Evesham III
EVESHAM'S third team continued their impressive start to the league season by achieving a winning draw against Belbroughton.
The visitors batted first and scored 230-7 with Peter Davidson scoring 106 not out. He was well supported by Arnie Hyde (26 not out) and Alan Ayers (170).
Belbroughton finished on 202-7.
