ELMLEY Castle completed a big win against Earlswood in the Premier League on Saturday.
Batting first Elmley scored 294-3. After losing Neil Cooper for a quickfire 13, Craig Sheward and Mike Granacki then put on 221 for the second wicket. Sheward eventually being stumped for a superb 130.
Granacki continued the run feast aided by a whirlwind 25 from Ben Benzien, Granacki being a brilliant 102 not out when the innings closed.
Despite a superb 86 from Windeatt, Earlswood had no answer to Benzien and Steve Webb, who took eight wickets between them all clean bowled. Webb took 5-19 in his ten overs, Benzien taking 3-35, Ray Brown 2-23 to give Elmley victory by 13 runs.
