PARISH COUNCIL: Open Forum: Two residents attended.
Complaint was received about bird scarers to the rear of properties in Weston Road.

A minute's silence was observed in memory of the late Councillor Philip Jelfs. Coun Julie Johnson was welcomed as a new parish councillor.
Chairman: Mr J James was elected chairman for the coming year.
Vice-chairman: Mr G B Jelfs was elected for the coming year.
County council report: Coun Tom Bean had attended two planning meetings.
He acknowledged the service the late coun Jelfs had contributed to the council over the years.
District council report: Coun George Bourne reported the planning process was improving.
It appeared it was taking three weeks to register an application, which made the eight weeks realistically 11.
Playground Equipment: Tenders for repairs to the swings at the Recreation Ground and Stoneford Lane and the rutted area beneath had been approved.
Work will be carried out as soon as possible.
Replacement of equipment: This has been abandoned for the time being.
Memorial Hall: All repairs to the roof have been completed.
Balance of money will be used for internal refurbishment of the hall.
Parish councillor vacancy: Following the death of coun Jelfs there is a vacancy on the parish council. Please apply to Mr J E James.
Grant application: An application would be made to help with the expenses of the purchase and site clearance of land for the extension to the burial ground.
Foot and mouth disease: A further update had been received.
If paths are considered suitable for opening the parish council will be notified.
Election: Notice of election had been received, listing candidates for the county council election.
Rural rate relief: Correspondence had been received concerning rural and discretionary rate relief for the post office.
Audit of crime and disorder: A questionnaire had been received, information used to assess the level of crime and disorder in Wychavon.
Planning Questionnaire: Information was requested on the service provided by the planning department.
Royal Mail Postcodes: Changes will be made to the WR11 postcode in July 2001.
Planning: application - Mr and Mrs Chandler, Squires Court, resubmission of application of two storey extension to the rear, to provide utility/kitchen/bedroom. Withdrawn - Mr Rygus, site at Stoneford Lane, site palisade fencing.
Roads/Footways/Greening of the Village: Potholes - have been reported in Main Street and Station Road.
Recreation ground - work will be carried out shortly on maintenance to the trees.
St Leonard's Church: A donation will be made towards the maintenance of the church clock and churchyard. An open air service will be held in the Cross on Sunday, at 7pm. It will be followed by an asparagus auction at the Fleece Inn, starting at 8pm.
Inn Court: Notification of change of licence for the Fleece Inn had been received.
Full transfer date to Peter Stuart Clarke will be made on June 4.
CALC: A copy of Worcestershire Mail, policy update on foot and mouth disease, minutes of area committee meeting had been received and would be circulated.
CPRE: A copy of rural matters and planning update would be circulated.
The next meeting will be held on June 11, in the Memorial Hall, starting at 7.15pm with the open forum.
OPEN GARDENS: Gardens will be open on Sunday, from 11am to 7pm.
Light lunches and refreshments available at the Memorial Hall. Entrance £2.50.
