I stand for the Greens to give the voter an alternative.
I don't like the direction that the country, and county, are heading and would like to see positive change. This past winter we have seen the county afflicted by fuel, flood and foot and mouth disease. We have not yet felt the full effects! These are Green issues; Pollution, Climate Change and Intensive Farming and in all cases the Government has shown its inability to deal with them. Nor would a Conservative or Liberal government have dealt with them any better. Over the past 30 years the Greens have pressed for changes that are now important issues for the major parties, and yet there is not one Green in Parliament. This is a time when all our society values are being questioned, a time of outstanding greed and increasing poverty, when change is being imposed on us from Brussels and Westminster at an unacceptable pace, when urban problems are driving people to look for the quality of life we still possess here in Worcestershire. Take the time to vote and if you like Worcestershire the way it still is, vote Green.
