Members discused the resolutions for the forthcoming General Meeting in Cardiff. They were the need for qualifications for care/home assistants and access to a school nurse for all school age children. Donations of essential items for survival were received to fill an Aquabox purchased by members to be sent to disaster areas in the event of flood or earthquake by the Lions Club. Judy Neal confirmed that the jumble sale at the Corn Exchange had been very sucessful as was the choir's evening of songs from around the British Isles.
A buffet supper accompanied by summer punch was provided by Mary Cartwright, Jan Hodgson and the home economics group.
