I WOULD like to respond to the We Say column in the Evening News (Friday, May 25).
It does appear that you seem to be favouring one particular candidate over all others in the Worcester Constituency.
I understand that other candidates also joined in this evening, which was obviously for a very good cause. There was no mention of this in your article.
Also, surely Mr Foster is not that nave not to realise that someone would try to take advantage of his vulnerability at this time, and, if he is that nave, perhaps this casts doubt on his ability to represent this constituency at Westminster.
I assume that this fund-raising evening was arranged before the General Election was called and therefore, maybe all political candidates should have withdrawn and agreed to make a personal donation.
I do hope we will see a more balanced promotion of the political candidates in the Evening News during the rest of this campaign.
