THE Cotswold Savoyards will present Gilbert and Sullivan's The Gondoliers at The Everyman in Cheltenham next week.
Marco and Giuseppe, gallant gondoliers and keen Republicans, have just married their sweethearts when they are told that one of them is heir to the throne of Barataria.
They also learn that the heir was already married in infancy to his future queen. But which one is the new king? And how will he react to suddenly being branded a bigamist?
Performances start on Monday, June 4 and continue until Saturday, June 9.
Tickets are £5 to £9.50 on 01242 572573.
