Malvern Ramblers II v Eastnor II
Eastnor lost by one wicket in the 52nd over of a very tight match at Ramblers.
Eastnor opener Dave Jones (7) went in the sixth over to a sharp catch at slip, the first of M Cox's (7-61) seven wickets.
Wickets continued to tumble until Faisal was joined in the middle by fellow youngster Tom Hurrell (14no), batting at number 10. Hurrell supported the in-form Faisal past his 50 as Eastnor went from 104-8 off 34 overs to 175-9 off 46 overs
In reply a strong stand between D Cox (59) and I Walwyn (29) moved the Ramblers total onto 65-2, before Walwyn fell to John Taylor's (5-66) first wicket.
With the scores tied at 175, Cox thumped the ball toward point, who was just unable to hang on to it as the Ramblers pair stole home for victory.
