MALVERN RAMBLERS SUNDAY XI v CHELTENHAM SARACENS
Ramblers got off to a good start with Dave Sharp and Dave Arnold putting on 60 for the first wicket. Sharp was the first to go for a patient 22. Opener Arnold was finally caught for 44 and Steve Walker scored a quick fire 24. This bought Ray Evans and Tom Wells together who put on 70 for the fourth wicket. Evans was finally out for a fine 50 and Tom Wells scored 49 not out.
After bowling a couple of no balls, Bywater bowled opener Midwinter for a duck. Ramblers score of 216-4 was just a bit too much for Cheltenham and after their 40 overs they were 193-4.
Next Sunday Malvern Ramblers 2nd XI, are at home to Lye. If selected you will be notified.
