COLWALL v KINGTON
COLWAL continued their winning ways in the Sunday League with a five wicket win over Herefordshire rivals Kington.
Kington's Exall top scored with 34 and a large total of 30 extras pushed the total to 185-9 after 40 overs.
The efforts of Tim Riley and Dave Powell were the mainstay of a Colwall innings that recorded victory with three overs to spare.
Matt King (28) and Riley added 45 for the second wicket as Colwall reached 86-1 after 20 overs. Riley passed his half century in 67 balls before being caught at mid wicket for 58.
Dave Powell's unbeaten 38 in 30 balls clinched victory for Colwall. His attacking innings that included three sixes matched with Will Hards late 19 runs meant the home side ran out winners by five wickets.
