BELBROUGHTON v BARNARDS GREEN
Facing an under-strength home side on a benign pitch, Green opening batsman Jez Clarke reached a sound half-century in the 16th over before Burrows clung on to a return catch.
Paul Drinkwater and Phil Divito looked in little trouble as they advanced the score to 149 in the 30th over before Divito was stumped.
Drinkwater took over, clubbing eight sixes in a quick fire career best 91. His effort ensured 111 runs came off the last ten overs to see the Green to 260-4 in 40 overs.
Belbroughton felt this was far too many runs and resisted stoutly reaching 132-4 off their 40 overs.
Next week's inaugural Sunday Worcestershire League game at Ombersley will prove more demanding.
