TELEPHONE kiosks in Kidderminster town centre have been vandalised in a series of attacks over two nights.
BT engineers were called out two evenings running last week to clear up broken glass after panels were smashed on booths in Vicar Street.
In the first incident, reported by police, a kiosk was damaged at 12.40am on Monday, 28 May.
More vandalised kiosks, again in Vicar Street, were reported by a member of the public at 8pm the next day.
A further incident in which a phone booth in Chester Road South was also damaged, was discovered by a police officer at 4.54am on Wednesday 30.
Town centre beat officer WPc Sarah Jones said: "We are asking members of the public who may have seen anything suspicious to contact Kidderminster police station on 01562 820888."
