A DECISION has been delayed as to whether to postpone the infilling of a Hartlebury Quarry.
Half was filled in 1995. Biffa Waste Services Ltd was supposed to start restoring the remainder last autumn, but the firm has since asked for more time.
The director of environmental services at County Hall, Richard Wigginton, has recommended approving the postponement of infilling at Hartlebury Quarry until September 2002.
But the planning and regulatory committee has decided it wants to see the site for itself. Councillors are to agree a date to visit.
