A GOOD Samaritan who went to a woman's aid in a Worcester street was robbed by her two accomplices after she lured him into a dark alleyway.
The woman approached her victim claiming she needed help, but when he followed her into Nash's Passage, which runs between New Street and City Walls Road, he was confronted by two men standing in an alcove.
The men demanded cash and the victim handed over £10 before they fled in the early hours of Saturday, June 2. The woman had already disappeared.
Worcester police have issued a description of the conwoman.
She was described as white and between 25 and 40 years old, with short, dark, spiky hair and a tattoo on her right cheek. She was wearing a blue denim jacket.
The only description of the two men was that one had a scruffy black duffle-style coat.
"Although the descriptions of the attackers are vague, I'm confident someone knows who did this," said investigating officer PC Dave Hall.
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious should call PC Hall on 01905 723888 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
