POLICE watched as a woman carried out two drug deals in the street, Worcester Crown Court was told.
Louise Grainge sold wraps of heroin to two men and more was found inside her body when she was arrested and taken to the police station, said Gareth Walters, prosecuting.
Grainge, aged 25, admitted two charges of supplying heroin and one of possessing the drug intending to supply it to others.
After hearing that she had spent six-and-a-half months in custody, Recorder Anthony Palmer QC made a drug treatment and testing order for 18 months, which allowed her to leave court.
Anthony Cole, who was driving her around Kidderminster, admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin.
The 28-year-old, of Comberton Hill, Kidderminster, was made the subject of a community rehabilitation order for 18 months and ordered to undertake a drug group work programme.
Detectives had been keeping watch on a house on the town's Spennells estate on November 15 last year when the accused were seen leaving the address, said Mr Walters.
Their car first stopped in George Street where a man was sold two wraps for £35. Soon afterwards, Grainge did another deal for £10 with a man in Stourbridge Road.
Grainge, of Elmdale Drive, Kidderminster, frankly admitted the dealing and said she did it to fund her own heroin habit, which was costing £30 a day and her income was only £85 a week.
Her counsel, Tony Badenoch, said she had a history of drug-related offending, which had escalated into street dealing. But she had served the equivalent of a 13-month sentence while in custody on remand.
Samantha Forsyth, defending Cole, submitted her client was on the fringe of the dealing and had only been the chauffeur for Grainge.
