KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have snapped up Irish midfielder Daire Doyle from Coventry City.
The 20-year-old has signed a contract until the end of the season with a view to a permanent stay at Aggborough.
The free transfer deal was completed by manager Jan Molby yesterday -- just 24 hours after he slapped seven players on the transfer list.
Molby, who ran the rule over Doyle during a trial spell at Kidderminster earlier this season, said: "Daire is a player I've been watching for a while.
"He is a young, mobile, aggressive midfielder and, in my opinion, is an exciting prospect. He has had a great up-bringing under Gordon Strachan at Coventry and that will bode well for him for the future."
Doyle joined Coventry from Irish side Cherry Orchard for a nominal fee in 1998, but has struggled to break into the Premiership outfit's side.
He said: "I enjoyed my short stint earlier in the season and I'm delighted to have made the move. I have a better chance of first team football at Kidderminster and hopefully I will enjoy a successful time here."
