HIGH-FLYING Stourport continued their impressive form with an 83-run Worcestershire League Division Three victory at Rushwick.
The promotion chasers elected to bat and struggled early in the innings.
Dave Cook (36) was the pick of the top order batsmen, then a fine 57 from Ian Delo raised the total to 178.
The Stourport seamers proved too much for Rushwick as man-of-the-match Delo and Chris Young led the way with three wickets each. The hosts were bowled out for just 95.
Stourport 178 (24 points), Rushwick 95 (4).
Top-of-the-table Stourport seconds were also victorious, beating Rushwick by seven wickets at home.
The visitors were reduced to 65-6 despite a string of dropped catches.
John Downes was the main suffering bowler with two wickets scant reward for his efforts. S Ricketts (69) rescued the innings.
In reply, Steve Davis (80) dominated a century second-wicket stand with Eddie Giles as Stourport cruised home with nearly 15 overs left.
Rushwick 164-9 (3), Stourport 165-3 (20).
