ALMOST 3,000 women joined in what could have been the world's biggest aerobics session yesterday, as they warmed up for Worcester's third annual Race for Life.
The 5km Imperial Cancer Research Fund race on Pitchcroft Racecourse raised an estimated £120,000 for research into cancers affecting women.
The warm-up followed a minute's silence for all those affected by cancer.
Race for Life started in 1994 with one race around London's Battersea Park. There are now 71 Race for Life runs around the country and last year £5m was raised.
