ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet Running Club members carried off several prizes at the third Warndon Villages fun run in Worcester.
John Amos recorded his second personal best of the week to finish second in the 10km race in 38 minutes one second and first in the male over-45 category.
Eddie Sanders recorded 39-16 to finish fifth (first male over-50) with Chris Miles seventh in 40-01.
Ruth Ince continued her fine current form to take the winning ladies prize in 44-25, finishing a fine 15th overall.
Debbie Sault was next to finish in 21st position (fourth lady) in 46.31.
Other category winners included Gordon Sims, 48-51 for 30th overall and first male over-55, Lindsay Pulley, 51-19 for 37th and first male over-60, and Irene Sanders, 57-18 for 59th and first female over-50.
In the 5km race, Lloyd Wright finished 17th in 25-26, Nicola Beecroft 23rd in 27-25 (fourth lady) and Karen Yeats 32nd in 30-07.
Amos and Sault recorded personal bests in the second Worcestershire midweek league race at Bromsgrove in 39-27 and 46-10 respectively.
Eddie Sanders also ran, finishing with Sault in 46-10.
Entries for the Wyre Forest half-marathon on June 24th now total over 170 - athletes are urged to enter quickly to avoid missing out on the race.
