KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have become the latest club to be linked with released Wolverhampton Wanderers' goalkeeper Mike Stowell.
Harriers' boss Jan Molby, who did not retain veteran 'keeper Tim Clarke at the end of their debut season in the Nationwide League Division Three, had hoped to bring in a younger player, but he has been attracted by Stowell's unquestionable ability and experience.
Kidderminster, however, already have two other goalkeepers on their books in Stuart Brock and Brendan Murphy. Blackpool remain fav-ourites to sign 36-year-old Stowell, while Torquay United boss Colin Lee is also thought to be interested.
Harriers, meanwhile, are to add another team to develop their up-and-coming youngsters. They intend to run an under 19s side and have applied to in the Football League Youth Alliance next season.
Matches will take place on Saturday mornings.
The new side will compliment the existing Under 18s side, which collected four trophies last season and which will continue to play in the Midland Floodlit Youth League.
