WHEN Roy Chubby Brown leapt on to the Glades Arena stage those in the audience sensed they were not going to be disappointed by the evening's entertainment.
The extremely blue comic went on to perform a large range of new material and starred for nearly an hour and a half in his flamboyant clothes.
The highlights of the show were a mastermind quiz with a specialised chosen subject not ever likely to be seen on television, an unusual journey into heaven for one character and a rather different view of overseas aid appeals.
Chubby went on to leave many of its members open-mouthed with an outrageous view of everyday life.
His perception of a woman's role had members of both sexes howling with laughter.
It is hard to think of a subject which did not come in for some serious, foul-mouthed, Chubby ridicule when he took centre stage from the band, Hooper.
The ban had produced an excellent display to open the show.
Several stints on the piano and a 'Full Monty' style strip made up the end of the performance, which left Chubby's following gasping for more.
The show's ticket had warned those easily offended to stay away from the show.
I suspect anyone with more delicate feelings will wish they had stayed at home, safely tucked up in bed.
