The demolition of buildings in Mill Street, Kidderminster, are the subject of the picture above taken in 1976. The levelling of the buildings revealed the rear view of the Church Street properties and, more significantly, the school rooms of the Baxter Church.
In November 1992 a new state-of-the-art doctors' surgery was opened on the site, costing £1.75 million to build and equip.
The building of the surgery was delayed in 1991 when mediaeval remains of mediaeval Kidderminster were discovered delaying the construction to allow and archaeological dig to be carried out.
