HARRIERS boss Jan Molby is chasing midfielder Paul Sheerin who could leave Inverness Caledonian Thistle on a Bosman free transfer.
The 26-year-old former Southampton player has scored 12 goals for the Scottish First Division club this season.
And he was nominated as one of the challengers for the division's player of the year award by his fellow professionals.
But 5ft 10ins Sheerin has stalled on a new contract up north and Molby sees the player as a strong summer signing.
Molby is also interested in Crewe Alexandra centre-back Chris Lightfoot, who has been at Aggborough on trial, but he faces strong competition from other Division Three clubs.
The former Chester City and Wigan Athletic man has caught the attention of Leyton Orient and Shrewsbury Town among others.
The versatile Lightfoot, 31, can also operate in midfield and has clocked up just under 400 Football League appearances.
