A BUMPER total of 297 horses has been entered for tomorrow's evening race meeting at Worcester.
The first of the six races will be at 6.45pm with the last at 9.15pm.
Pitchcroft officials are expecting a big crowd for the meeting which follows the recent two-day event which attracted around 4,000 racegoers each day.
Weather permitting, it is hoped that tomorrow's meeting will pull in around 2,500.
"The people of Worcester have been starved of racing and we are expecting a big crowd tomorrow," said a Pitchcroft spokeswoman.
"We have received a very high entry for a Wednesday meeting," she added.
Four of the races are being shown live by Sky Television.
