POLICE are investigating a burglary after the owner of a derelict property disturbed two men inside the premises.
Nothing was stolen and the two offenders made off over the fields to a van, used as a getaway vehicle.
A woman with a Yorkshire terrier dog was standing by the van.
She entered the car with the men and they drove off.
The owner of the property, in Fownhope, near Hereford, noted the van in the area at the time of the burglary at around 5pm on Sunday.
The vehicle was a green Morris Minor van in good condition, parked on the B4224 outside the village of Fownhope facing in the direction of Ross-on-Wye.
Police are looking for two men answering the following description.
The first is described as 25 to 35 years old, white, 5ft 10in, of slim build with a sallow complexion and short sandy/gingery hair and a goatee beard.
He was wearing a red and black chequered shirt and dark trousers,
The second man was white with light brown hair, aged around 25-30, of medium build and wearing dark clothing.
The woman was white, in her mid-20s, 5ft 5in with a round face and of chubby build.
She had mousy shoulder-length straight hair with a fringe.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious should call police on 01432 276422.
