CATEGORISING playwright and novelist Sir John Mortimer's forthcoming show would be hard, writes Julian Seva.
Which is probably why he's called it Mortimer's Miscellany - Life, Love and the Law.
The former barrister and creator of Rumpole of the Bailey will be at the Palace Theatre next week with a memorable evening of entertainment and readings from his plays and novels.
Mortimer's Miscellany is at the Alcester Street theatre on Friday at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10.50 (£9.50 Reddicard) and can be booked by calling 65203 or 68484.
