THE Palace Theatre hosts a rare musical treat on June 27 in the form of the Soweto String Quartet and their Rhythms of Africa.
The South African group promise to transport their audience with their funky sound and township rhythms to the cultural heart of Africa.
But the group will also apply their well-honed talents and classical training to some decidedly less traditional numbers, placing their stamp on more contemporary pieces of music.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 (£11 Reddicard).
For bookings, call the box office on 65203 or 68484.
