STUDLEY skipper Mark Lewis was left kicking his heels at the weekend when the wet weather robbed his side of the chance to take on fellow strugglers Tamworth.
And the Washford Fields skipper pinpointed the departure of wicketkeeper Adrian Hunt as one of the reasons for his side's disappointing start.
Hunt left the club in the close season to move to Bahrain and the club have picked up just one win in their opening eight fixtures.
With Tamworth sitting two places above Studley in the Birmingham Two East, hopes were high of a result at the weekend until the weather intervened.
Studley will be hoping for better luck at the weekend when they face another make-or-break fixture at Moseley Ashfield (1pm start) and Lewis expects to be at full strength.
